The thought process seems ok but it's not
It is based on the sacrifice of morality in order to "find a wife". And that question not only the value of your morality you let down through your success-chase but also the worth of your morality relative to you wanting to "find a wife"
I really don't like this.
Some hypothetical cases;
1: My brother's life is on the line.
- It is worth sacrificing my morality in its entirety, so i can ignore how immoral I am to save his life. I could become a devil
2: Get my brother a rich lifestyle.
- It is not worth sacrificing my morality in its entirety, but then again I would be happy so i might have immoral practice here and there. But limits are clear.
3: Not losing a random friend (friend to strangers).
- This is a relationship. The other side sacrifices will matter too, the reason it happens, is it worth it, do they matter that much.. It is a lot more complicated. Slight chances I do anything without great context, which would have strong limits too
4: Get a woman.
- This is a relationship, I am then expected to change my person on a very deep level only to get someone I have no attachment to? No, never. It's not even a question
