It's only been a trending topic recently and it sure as hell never got as much upvotes as a thread like this which is quite honestly incredibly trivial in concern. It says a lot to me about the priorities here. Also I think if people feel shame they act out in various ways, one of those ways is defensive. Someone relaying their experiences will be categorically shut down with 'not all men' in order to silence it as it makes the listener uncomfortable. Instead of examining that discomfort posts like mine get downvoted and will continue to be downvoted as people don't want to do anything about it. They will not speak to the head of their dojo and they won't call out the behaviours of others because it doesn't effect them.
