Women in high-paying jobs who don't hate them because of some issue with sexism/not fitting in/saving the planet?

i'm currently child-free, but not planning to stay that way. that said, i love my job and have every intention of staying in it until i get sick of it and also have enough money saved to retire. it will take a lot of significant changes for me to get sick of it, and i imagine that knowing i don't NEED to be there will make me enjoy my job even more.

i'm a consultant skewing towards the digital side of things, but generally an all-around throw me into a fire and i'll put it out efficiently kind of consultant working directly with companies dealing with a wide range of challenges. everything to crisis situations to M&A and everything in between.

i fucking love it. it speaks to my ability to handle stress and fast-paced challenging situations. i love the fact that we typically don't have long, drawn out projects that never fucking end. i love that my ability to see and prioritize problems and come up with a game plan to solve them is valued and appreciated. i love my team, and i love my boss. i work with a great group of people who fundamentally understand that the job needs to get done, and what our priorities are. they're dependable, resourceful, talented, smart, and fun to work with. they each bring a different set of skills to the table, which gives us an adaptable and well-rounded offering.

it lets me channel all of my INTJ energy into productive and positive things so that my down time is whatever i want it to be.

i got into my job through development, but was quickly plucked out of the day-to-day stuff for client-facing work and management. i've matured and learned a TON in my time here. if i were to tell you what my dream job involved, i probably would describe all of the perks and elements of my current role, but i'd never in a million years have been able to say "ok, i want to be a consultant," and actually get onto a career track for that. my falling into it has really worked to my benefit, as it's given me the opportunity to set a lot of my own standards.

when/if kids enter the picture, my SO is prepared to do a lot of the heavier lifting as far as child care is concerned so that i can focus on my career which is looking better and better with every passing year. the plan is to take it as far as it'll go and see where i end up.
