The company I work for had contracted with a cleaning service that would work the same hours I was usually scheduled. There was one particular guy who just wasn't all there and stalked most of the girls around the sales floor. Well, I was working front lanes one day and comes through my line and tells me he's noticed me from day 1. I just said cool, is this going to be all for you? He took that as reciprocation and waited by my register until I went on break. I usually smoke a cigarette on a bench to the side of building and enjoy my alone time but he followed me out there and started telling me stories of his high school days. I just say there in silence pretty pissed off that I couldn't just be by myself. Once again, the fact that I didn't tell him to leave took it as reciprocation. How do I know this?
The next day, although he had the day off, he shows up and approaches me right before my break. I he asked how I was, so I answered I was well. Then he just got angry with me. He asked if we weren't friends anymore and I asked what he was talking about. So he yells "DID WE NOT JUST SIT OUTSIDE YESTERDAY AND HAVE A MEANINGFUL CONVERSATION? I TOLD YOU ABOUT EVERYTHING!" I just stared at him in shock and was looking around at anyone to help. Nope. No one there. So I just walked off and went to the break room where he can't go. For 3 days he comes into work and is just aggressive with me after that. He still went through my line, but was throwing all his items at me and angerly swipes his card each time. Doesn't say a word. Just swipes the card in hostility. Then he quit.
So then, he applied as a cashier at my company (which he did not get, thankfully) and I never saw him after that. But the whole time he was filling out the application he would just glare at me from the application kiosk.
