Women of Reddit: when you met the love of your life, how did it happen?

Bumble, December 2018. 6 months after I got out of a nearly 5 year relationship.

I wasn't expecting anything serious, I just wanted to get better at talking to guys and casually date since I felt like I was still grieving in a sense. I wasn't expecting to be swept off my feet.

I was scared to jump into something serious so soon, but I also knew he was exactly what I was looking for and I would be an idiot to pass him up. He was patient with me and understanding that I was afraid of giving my heart away too quickly. We planned to take things slow, but then whoops we got engaged within the year. Now we're coming up on 3 years married in a few months. No regrets.
