I'm no advocate of marriage, even if divorce-rape laws were overturned. The risks of deadbedrooms, "I used to be wild in the sack but now that we're married I'm done with that nonsense", just being a bitchy parasite, etc are all still there. It's a woman's passive-aggressive way of dealing with the fact she's married to a man that isn't Chad. Now she's free to divorce-rape and steal the only thing she valued from him, but before that it was just two unhappy roommates stuck with each other.

That being said, "distributing" pussy via monogamy and slut shaming kept betas in line to the point that they built and improved upon civilization. It's a lot easier to deal with a shitty job if you had a family to provide for. Take that incentive away, and you have men that work the bare minimum to live a spartan life (as men are perfectly content without a huge house and six figures of debt).
