Women superior

Perhaps you could be so courteous as to link to one instance of a peer-reviewed study of the topic? One reason I've never asked a question on SO is that pervasive attitude of "that's so easy, just google it". It makes asking questions a waste of time. I'd rather just figure things out on my own or consult better company.

Searching for things within your domain of knowledge needs a new skill set. We learned what keywords are commonly used in CS. Other industries use different keywords. Asking someone with no interest in one domain (studies & statistics) to answer their own question through a web search will likely waste their time.

When I searched for "peer reviewed study women it", I got 3 popular science articles (medium & co), some study about cancer risks, one open-access with a single anonymous peer review (not exactly great), 2 studies on gender bias in general, a study on women's experience during menopause,... and I gave up at that point.

I also tried "peer reviewed study women in IT", "peer reviewed study women programmers", "peer reviewed study women programming", and various other variations. I did not find a single peer reviewed study specifically on women in IT.

Thus, I tried Google scholar with various queries such as "women in IT peer reviewed", "women programmers peer reviewed",... Instead of good results, I got "Broadcasting queer feminisms: Lesbian and queer women programming in transnational, local, and community radio" and "Effectiveness of substance abuse treatment programming for women: A review" as well as some articles from the early 2000s.
