Women...what do you actually want for Christmas?

Before you start reading the following list, I feel I should preface this with all women are not created equal, so for reference, I am a happily married super geeky OCD/ADHD/ASD Christian female in my 30s, who works in tech, with kids ranging in age from birth to late teens, grew up a tomboy and still am at heart, but have come to appreciate the finer things with age, including travelling the world (albeit on a very tight budget...see kids above), and taking care of my rapidly aging body through yoga and occasionally cardio when I can motivate myself (usually only around beach season!), with an affinity for all things Disney including SW and Marvel universes (but in a tasteful way - not a fan of kitschy garbage or non-functional tchotchkes), who loves to dress in cosplay (yes, even with COVID - we have a weekly family D&D game in full character), and in recent years discovered a love for crafting that I never knew I even had the aptitude for. With all that said, my wish list is below, with items that I know friends and family of the female persuasion are asking for in italics, and for the really lazy, I've quickly moved some of my favourite purchases and suggestions into this handy dandy Amazon list: https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/6BFE2AM1NVJT?ref_=wl_share Under £20 and Stocking StuffersMake-Up Items (Bare Minerals only for me)Home Decor Items (ONLY if you've seen their home and know their taste)Coffee  (I like proper Hawaiian Kona!)Coffee mugs - You can never have enough! Consider handmade for a more personalised touch.Imported American Foods - Cheetos, Graham Crackers, Strawberry Icing are some top favesChristmas Ornaments - Again, think handmade (especially if you make them yourself!!!) or personalised. Ornaments also means Wreaths - A big fluffy wreath personalised just for your giftee is a great idea for any Christmas-lover.Body Fragrances/Sets and Lotions-Scarves / Hats / Gloves (But thought is important here! What do you see them wear frequently? What's their favourite colour?)-Candles or Essential Oils (good to know your audience here again...I understand that most females seem fairly split between one or the other these days with the crunchy-crowd supporting arguments for essential oils and against candles for the micro-smoke-particles, while many others could care less)-New cell phone case (Only if you know the correct model, but especially good idea if you know they are getting a new phone for Christmas!) Crafty Items such as... -Yarn - You could get store bought wool or acrylic, but a real treat is hand-dyed wool!-Pre-wound bobbins (for sewers, machine quilters, and embroiderers)-Embroidery thread (Be cautious if you're not familiar with your giftee's hobbies, as there are 2 types of embroidery thread - I use machine embroidery thread because I don't cross stitch)-Solvy Stabiliser - For use with Machine Embroidery-Fabric - Specifically Cotton Woven & Cotton Lycra for me-Vinyl - I use with Silhouette Cameo to make decals - Can buy in sheets or rolls-Filament - For use with 3D Printers-Resin - For use with 3D Printers for me, but others use craft resin for jewelry making-3D Pen - These actually range in price but you can find very good China-Cheapies that also come with a large selection of PLA or ABS Filament for less than £20-Knitting Needles or Knitting Looms (Looms are also great for people interested in started knitting, but are scared to try, or for people with limited mobility)-Cross Stitch / Hand Embroidery Kits, Frames (You can get pendants and other unique frames these days too!), Embroidery Threads-Paints -Canvases -Paint Brushes

Bigger Ticket Items for Deep Pockets-Special Custom Tailormade Handbags, Messenger / Laptop Bags, Travel Bags - There's an AMAZINGLY talented woman who makes incredible custom fandom bags that I dream of owning. If you're buying for a geek and have £200-300-ish to spare, check out BenaeQueen Creations on your favourite social media platform. She has a particularly stunning Agent Carter Bag that she makes that is unlike anything I have seen commercially.- Designer Handbags - I currently hoard some Coach handbags because they were once in my price range, but I've always wanted a real Louis Vuitton (particularly fond of their weekenders and small luggage bags). Other names friends of mine covet range from Michael Kors to Prada.  -4K curved monitor in the 40 inch range-Cello (I can play the bass, but have always wanted to learn the cello)-Uggs (I like the knee high, personally)-Treadmill Desk-Designer Shoes-3D Printers-Vinyl Cutting Machines such as Silhouette or Cri-Cut Machines-Flashy Jewelry-Apple Products (iPhones, Smart Watches, MacBooks)

So, that's my list, but I would like to clarify that while it is very long, I don't actually really need or expect to see any of these things under my tree this year. All I really want is a happy memorable day with my family and a good cup of coffee and maybe some leftover turkey sandwiches. All of the following is written in the effort of helping those who may really struggle with gift-giving ideas, but I want to stress that the thought is absolutely what counts here. For me and just about every woman I know, gifts mean more when they're personalised, and I don't mean get their name painted on it. I mean, take time to consider their likes and dislikes, what are their hobbies? Fandoms? Fears? What brings them joy? You can make a big impact even on the tiniest of budgets if you just take the time to consider your giftee and plan ahead for holidays. I hope this helps someone!
