I agree with you, but I don't think it's exactly clear to everyone what this means -

Start a farm. Grow food. Encourage people with similar political beliefs to help tend it, and share the excess with poor communities. Organize pot lucks. Let them know that if they decided to strike, they would have your support and wouldn't need to go hungry if they lost their jobs.

Start a business. Operate it as a cooperative - everyone is equal with elected captains. You get a wholesale discount on goods - use it and feed everyone you can, or if you are producing goods, use the machinery to it's capacity. If you make textiles make sure everyone has clothes and blankets, if you run a woodshop make sure everyone has the furniture and shelter they need.

If you own property or have the credit score to buy it, go in on multi-unit properties with others, and again operate that property as a cooperative, charging people only what you need to to make even and make very clear that they will be supported if they choose to strike and aren't able to pay.
