Won a game as Kraken (PC) got called a noob for choosing an OP monster.

Kraken is only considered op because there is no direct counter to flying. Goliath is easy to pin down with a griffin harpoon, or a Crow stasis, and to a lesser degree maggie poons and abe nades. Plus Goliath is the most balanced monster, doing great damage and being able to take a good bit, but not too hard to find and trap. Wraith is tricky because some people think she is okay with how she is now, but some just dont wanna touch her because they prefer the op-ness of her previous life. But even though she is still a pain to find, she is easier to trap now, and easier to keep track of when she decoys and is better effected by slows now that she cant move as fast. Kraken however can be in the air all the time in combat, and if your spamming your attacks like most i have seen harpooning can be ineffective, and the stasis nades abe offers cant do much with an ever moving target, and from what i can tell Crows stasis doesnt pull him down, not sure if bugged ot meant for it. And Maggie is the better in the sense she can put a poon up high where a kraken might go but chances are he would be to far to get hit by it, or could just land on the cliff its on to still stay higher than hunters. Plus his banshee mines can be a pain because, now this might just be my experience, but no one shoots them to get rid of them. his lightning is great in regards to damage, and a bit hard to dodge because of its blast radius. I dont know if its just me, again, but When im against a Kraken i swear i time it to where 1 second before it goes off i jet pack twice away from it and can see it behind me, or in front of me, yet im still hit by it. But honestly its about who your playing with, where you trap him, and how effectively you use what you have. If your assault is spending to much time trying to position to do damage, your not gonna win. If your support is looking for the perfect spot to be so they can easily jetpack away or help someone below, you wont win. If your trapper is just trying to do damage and not slow or poon the monster you will not win. If your medic is trying to find a good spot to stay away from the monster instead of healing, you wont win.
