Well no shit dumbass, if a licensed tech be it a plumber, electrician, hvac or any other service professional come out you really think that everything is free. No you are paying overhead aka cost of gas, maintenance for vehicles, parts, labor everything that goes into making a business run. Its not just "oh hey, yeah we can come out for free and spend a couple of hours not getting paid to diagnose your system and let ya know what looks bad or worse for wear. Go do your job for free for an ungrateful prick like yourself, it isnt all that fun especially when you're the one that called them out in the first place. Yes there are some people and companies that charge wayyyyy too much for things. But the bigger the company usually the more you pay due to overhead.
