Wondering if anyone had any tips about how to stay in VR longer

For VR resolution needs to be as high as possible -- some people are ok with low resolution, but most are not; it's not ergonomic.

If raising resolution drops your framerate a lot, when 60fps is nominally a bare minimum for most people to start with (again, higher than 60fps is what's ergonomic), then your PC hardware may not be powerful enough for VR in the first place.

VR has been inducing nausea due to low resolution/low fps/other issues in million-dollar systems since the 1960s. Consumer hardware has only recently gotten to the point of inducing nausea in only some people rather than in almost everyone.

In fact it is pretty odd that you didn't even mention your hardware specs, since most people's PCs aren't powerful enough for VR.
