Annuity
We have a contract renewal every four years that adds on average 3$ an hour every year on july 1st. For four years then is renewed at the fourth year ..I’ve got a raise every single year for the last 22 years. Apprentices (absolutely no experience) start a 19/hr and receive A 3$/hr raise every 3-4 months as they obtain credits through there apprenticeship program..finally topping out at 48$ an hour when they receive there journeymen certificate (whole process is 3 1/2 to 4 years). Want to know the coolest part of it? My boss (owner) still has two yachts,3-4 houses and more cars and trucks/boats then I can count. My point is..wages and benefits can be paid and still make a profit..greed is the only thing stopping it. Live better /work union. I’m great full To work for a company where the owner is absolutely 100percent union proud.. everyone wins. In California prevailing wage is law. Red states , nope…and there income and quality of life shows it.
