I was already going to be at the store that day for something else anyway so I took the drill with me but left the rest for him to play with. When I got to the store with the toy drill and the receipt, I explained the issue to the woman at the counter and said that I'd like to exchange the broken drill with the drill from one of the sets they had there at her counter for sale.
