Good points, I know I didn't use any sources but come on I walk out my door and have to wait in line to get to my car I don't need a source to tell you that we have way to many people in this world and an absurd amount joining us everyday.

You reference our past where demographics weren't the same, as our population has grown a good amount since 1870 or 1910 (again probably don't need a demographic for that) and space, Material and quality of education among other things the developed world enjoys will be watered down to fit a new "all encompassing" curriculum as you can see happening with our public schools right now. Not enough desks, computers, books, time to interact one on one with students, teachers underpaid and not involved, hostile student environment fueled by fear of choosing what life/career to pursue. If we have high schools with 2000 - 3000 kids (which we have now in the states) you can see the ones who slip through the cracks, those who either squeak by doing the bare minimum or drop out. Adding more numbers to already crowded schools will lower our countries (and others*) standard to one lower than our public schools right now.

Don't mean to switch topics but I feel this is a good comparison. Females being able to join the Infantry (infantry is the main fighting force of the Marines and Army.) this is one of those ideas that to the public is great! Equality! Progress! Smart! Start of a new age! But we forget to add common sense into the mix. Speaking from experience as a Marine Infantryman, I weighed 260+ with full combat kit on (what we use in country) and if a female who's average weight is around 150-160 and than add at least 60lbs for gear. So everything's great, me and here are strolling down Afghan blvd and I get shot in the leg, you expect her to be able to pull a 260lbs of dead weight while I'm screaming and kicking and bullets are flying? I had 4 guys in my platoon whom weighed 120 and you think they could of done it? Nope they couldn't and they shouldn't have been in the military but because we want to include Everyone in everything they made it and now a good Marine is dead because of their inability to get him to a safe place to start treating him. My point being, sometimes what sounds good, looks good and fits the place and time isn't always good. Common sense (I'm not referring to myself in third person, not that crazy) says that putting someone in a war zone with half their body weight in gear strapped to their body is probably not going to end well. But hey fuck common sense because we have to be "equal".

Same idea on this immigration/borders topic, sounds good, looks good, the people are behind it and we are in a time of progressive ideas and thoughts (the people not the president) but it won't work, think of the logistics that goes along with assimilating everyone who wants to come here and other developed countries. Think of how the nazi idiots will react, think of how the old south, bible thumping communities will react, think of how people who don't have a competitive edge on the job market right now will feel once you add a lot more competitors to the pool. There will be fighting and possibly a want to secede and make their own country. If you think I'm just crazy talking, look what happened over a statue. People will fight and die to keep borders and until that culture/minds set either adapts to change or is erased, we will be stuck with these walls around our land.

You have to treat the human race as a scared animal (because we are) and introduce change in very small amounts, otherwise we might get spooked and attack out of fear.

And yes I am okay, just speaking what I believe. I am not saying I'm right or your dumb for having hope, I like what your trying to do I really mean that. I'm just trying to bring a little reality of the human kind in to view. we need people with new hopes and ideas like you I get that. But we also need to remember the nature of our species as well. I'd say* 99% of us can't cooperate and open our minds to new ideas and understandings. That's where your plan will fall, the power of ignorance will not allow much to change in our lifetime. Hopefully the ability to send information and ideas in seconds around the world will help control the ignorance, enabling us to progress to our next challenge. But it's not looking very hopeful, I'd say were more ignorant and lost now than 15 years ago.

It is not our leaders, policies or a secret evil power that creates suffering and blood shed. It is the willingness of the people to follow blindly into oblivion that makes the world what it is.

We blame everyone but ourselves, it's easy to be the victim ( I am guilty of this for sure, not saying I'm perfect) But in all reality if we wanted to, we could change everything. When a person acts for reasons more than self interest possibilities are endless.
