A Woolworths store wants to penalise employees for taking sick days. This can't be legal.

Im sure the person would still get paid for sick days as they are legally required to be. This seems an extra reward made in house to make the workers try better at their jobs (sad that this is required to make employees do their job the way it's ment to be done). Whilst I agree it's terrible during covid for this as it might make more people wanting to come to work sick but outside of covid I'm sure there would be a lot of staff that take advantage/fake sick days. This might just help out stopping that from happening. Younger people seem to think that they have to use every sick day each year and do so even if not sick. Most older people around 30+ I've know have 100's of hours of sick leave buit up, even after taking days of sick when they are actually sick.
