Do I work at a puppy mill?

Okay and you're ignoring my point that bybs dump their dogs on rescues/shelters because they don't want to pay the money to fix the dog. Is that really fair to dogs like this one https://www.petfinder.com/dog/macy-52599102/oh/bath/golden-treasures-golden-retriever-rescue-inc-oh404/ to be breed and abused just so people can have their puppy? This dog is lucky that a rescue came because bybs used to shoot them and leave them to die because the dog wouldn't make them any money.

You're acting like bybs are fine because people get a puppy out of it but some bybs abuse dogs/bitches to make money off of them. Pretending that it's elitist for people to want health tested dogs/bitches to produce healthy puppies and not be bred by people who abuse them makes it look like you don't care about animal welfare as long as people get puppies. You think this is okay to happen in order for people to get a puppy? https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2019-12-18/puppy-mill-kenney-family-lawsuit This is the side of bybs that people ignore because they got a puppy that turned out fine. This happens and it's not going to go away unless we educate people on what to look for in a breeder.

The golden rescue gets old dogs like this one from time to time. They're lucky that someone comes and fix them up. Used it to be that they got shot and their corpse shoved into a pit. https://www.petfinder.com/dog/kibbles-53602766/oh/westlake/hunters-hope-dog-rescue-oh1112/

People of any breed gatekeep because people are ill-suited to some breeds like people want a Central asian Shepherd or a husky when they want a nice pet or an alarm system. Everyone include you see what happens when people buy a dog that they're unsuited for that ends up in the shelter system because no one told them no and gatekeeped them away from a husky or a dog altogether. Or is that not a thing that happens in your shelter?

The people that I adopted my cat from talked me out of adopting a long-haired kitten by a long lecture about their upkeep because I had no prior experience with long haired cats. They were gatekeeping to prevent ill-suited owners like me to take a kitten that I had no business adopting. The kitten I have right now is better fit for me than the long-haired one and I thank for that lady talking me out of getting the other kitten because I wouldn't have my Fern.
