Case in point:

We had a meeting with the new Managing Director, this was shortly after a handful of coworkers left the building for the last time.

We got the "you're the team going forward" speech from the new MD and i was like OK cool, at least i'm still here. Everyone i considered a friend or enjoyed working with was still there so i wasn't too upset over it.

I went into a coworkers cube as she was turned away, I sat on her desk and was like "wow, what a crazy day" and she turned around with mascara running down her face... and my only thought was oh fuck me.
