here’s the thing.. I really really do feel for the workers/staff at these places when they’re getting screwed by their employer.

but why is the customer being made to feel responsible for paying wages to the workers? at the end of the day, our relationship with the company is only as a consumer. that’s all we are to them. we’re already paying the company for products/services. it’s the company’s responsibility to use that money to pay their workers so that they continue making those products/services. there shouldn’t even be a need for a direct financial pipeline between the consumer and the worker. the corporation is the one who has the most of it anyway. so they’re definitely making more than enough to be paying their workers.
