Workers Don’t Want Their Old Jobs on the Old Terms - “labor shortages” is a good thing, not a problem. The pandemic may have given many Americans a chance to figure out what really matters to them — and the money they were being paid for unpleasant jobs, some now realize, just wasn’t enough.

Ya, dealing with parents is the absolute worst! I don’t even give out my phone number, email address or anything because I will never talk to parents about their kids playing time.

Ya, I’ve worked for this school for 7 years now and my pay has stayed stagnant for all 7 years. I love the job, but it’s 5 months of work for just $2,500 and then the parents will chip in and give you like $200 more.

I just wish parents, and schools, showed that they value who is around their kids. It’s just so strange that they are willing to get worse teachers, just to save money. Then, we go and remodel a freaking prison instead of paying the coaches and teachers better… it makes no sense
