Is Working at a Conservative Religious School like Liberty Career Suicide?

Nah, not for costume design, anyway.

I'm a little familiar with a few people that have worked there through professional groups. I also have a student that was in the department for a semester because her dad is some sort of science professor and she was needed a scholarship that wasn't available until spring to go to my college. She left the first chance she got and hated it, but it was a free option for a semester and she kinda got stuck. Learned more about that department from her complaints, anyway, and they lined up with folks I have seen talking about working there.

I don't think anyone thinks anything of working in conservative places, not really. It tends to be more of a ''job's a job'' mentality.

All that said, I work at a pretty conservative place and my department consists of 3 socialists, 2 neo libs, and a single libertarian that vote democrat because theatre's gonna theatre or something.
