I have ASD and I joined about a month ago.
There are a million neuroatypical people in the CS. It's probably one of the more well represented disabilities.
You will be given a Workplace Adjustment passport and there you can detail your needs and support. Your manager will then agree it, so if you change jobs your needs will still be supportive.
The workplace adjustments teams and HR diversity types are usually really helpful and friendly.
I got some equipment I needed right away, my boss made sure I had a really clear outline of what I was doing on the first day.
I would be open about it. If anything, talking about my ASD had only ever resulted in positive conversations for me that have enlightened people.
