Working full time

Yes, I work full time, and have been able to study 10-15 hours a week for the past 6ish months, sometimes more, depending on my workload and level of motivation. You'll have to sacrifice a lot of the time you previously dedicated to your hobbies and social life to make room for studying, and sometimes you'll get home exhausted after a long day of work, and it will be a real effort to force yourself to study. Just keep thinking of the end-goal, becoming a doctor, and it will give you a little boost of motivation whenever you need it.

Since you're flexible with your exam date, I would start studying first for a few weeks and then schedule your exam after you've gauged how much time you are able to commit each week and how much time it will take you to get to the score you want.

Some tips: * Listen to Khan academy lectures during your commute. Many of them don't require visuals to be able to understand. * Buy and download Anki for your phone or tablet, download premed95's deck, and use it whenever you have free time at work, like during lunch or breaks. * Try to maintain a consistent study schedule, after a while it will just feel like something you do (like your job), and less like something that's optional. Makes it easier to stay on track. * Take a vacation from studying and your job now and then. It'll help you refresh and make it easier to focus when you get back to studying.
