Working ladies who experience mild anxiety before the workweek starts, how do you cope?

Sundays are always “me” days! I’m loving this cooler weather.

Physical: I usually workout the other six days a week, but I take it easier on this day. Lately I’ve been making a mocha, a chai latte, or a hot chocolate for breakfast and going for a 3 mile walk in the morning. If the mood strikes me, I’ll do some geocaching or painting.

Emotional: After that, I call one of my 12 family members while I go for a walk and kick around a soccer ball or practice shooting hoops in the neighborhood. This usually is about another 2-3 mile walk.

Practical: By the early afternoon, I start some simple chores, change my sheets, do some laundry, and make a quick run to the grocery store for the week.

Mental: I draw a hot bath, put on some classical music, hop in, and read or and work on a puzzle (I love logic puzzles, cryptology, and math problems). If I want extra papering, I’ll scent the bath. I love baths.

Personal: I don’t really enjoy eating, so I’m a little more lax on myself on the weekends. I’ll just have one meal and a snack and not worry about trying to get in more calories; I just focus on eating enough the rest of the week.
