I do this , I’m in a small township so semi rural , 10 mins from Waterloo. Tiny pop, septic tank , water softener , 99% things to get are via car kinda rural . I love it, internet is even better than Toronto for some reason on tech savvy .

One major downside is I’m in tech , worked in games now I’m in nfts so from one unstable industry to another so the fear of if the job goes sour how am I gonna pay the mortgage is always looming but that was the risk I took in order to afford to not rent .

That and the air is way nice and people are much more chill hahah

Tho it does smell like horse poop in summer (vs Toronto where it smelled like garbage when it got warm)
