I’ve worked at a few doggy daycare/boarding facilities. The first one paid minimum wage with a yearly .25 cent pay increase (ugh). All dogs went out in the AM and PM for leashed bathroom breaks and you could add a mid-day bathroom break as well (default for puppies). You could add option play times, which were basically extended bathroom breaks (10min leashed walks), as well as offleash sessions, group play sessions, treadmills, swims, or 10 minute jogs (which were irritating as hell to be assigned to). Overall it was a well run facility with good policies and vetting procedures. Prices were, uh, a little crazy. I had both an employee discount and a vet discount and prices for my dog per night with just one or two playtimes and no other activities (k . ..? No averaged around $50.
