There are a lot of Gods and Goddesses, and their powers have changed hands many times, but are they real?

Yes. That is the short answer, but the long one is filled with questions. The Gods are real, they have been seen, they have been heard and they have been killed and replaced. All know this to be true, yet where did they come from? How did we get from a world created with dragons, to a world filled with Gods and man? I think that debate will go on for all time.
