As the world loses faith in democracy, leaders of vision are desperately needed

Not sure what makes you suggest I’m a dishonest person...

If worker owned companies are more competitive, then that’s great. I have no problem with anyone choosing to set up their company in this way. But, I’m a little skeptical. If this really does work better, then why aren’t more companies doing it? If democratic ownership was really so advantageous, you’d think such companies would come to dominate. Since that’s not the case, there must be some way in which privately owned companies are more viable.

But hey, if you think it’s a good idea, I encourage you to unionize and pressure your employer to make this change. Or, you and your coworkers can quit and form your own company. Prove that your model is superior and out-compete your formal employer. I just don’t think you should be able to use the government to force this type of socialism on your employer. You’ve got a theory with some evidence, but I don’t think we can say with certainty that it’s a superior model that should be forced on everyone.
