I guess I don't want to draw that much of a line in the sand because even though I think it's batshit crazy, at least a lot of anti abortion people do some from an ok moral ground. When you factor in the rest of the party policy towards poor people and humanity though it really should be obvious which party cares more about humanity. I'm sure I'll get a little derision for this, but I honestly just think a lot of them are dumb. McCain is the poster child for this. I fully believe he thought his actions were for the best. I just think he was too stupid to understand he was wrong. The party is basically divided into conmen and their victims. The victims may be nasty and hostile, but they got they way by falling prey to someone with an agenda or with substantial influence over information.
