Highly recommend getting more than half a dozen jumps away. Even better run to a quiet lowsec system. It's easy enough to make a safe location to scan from in a Heron negating the danger of LS but granting you the lower traffic.

This is important for 2 reasons: Wormholes near Jita are busy. Wormholers move stuff out through them. So they will be passing through, possibly have the wormhole prescanned, and so they can be on you without warning. Other groups like Wingspan are known to lurk in such holes waiting for the unwary.

It's also important because other newer player who don't know better will go there in larger numbers, and the system will have less relic sites (the good ones) remaining. So find untread territory so you can get the big hauls. It's daunting, but a wormhole with a lot of signatures is much better than one with few, because there will always be some wormholes taking up sigs, so if few are there, even fewer could be desirable signatures. You want those that look inactive.
