The worst collectibles in video games, nominate the ones that made you feel things you didn't want to feel!

If you're not neurotic like me, the first Psychonauts is an awesome game with a couple of flaws, that are not a big deal in an otherwise amazing, funny, and varied adventure. But, if the incorrect number on your collectibles screen makes your eyes twitch, stay away from this game. Just go and run in the woods naked in a snow storm at 3 AM instead of playing this game. It's better in every way when compared to the sheer frustration of trying to spot that missing figment.

I am 100% sure the conversation about the figments in a development meeting went like this:

Tim Schafer: "Alright, we need something for the players to collect. Otherwise they'll just run through this game in minutes."

Developer 1: "How about... figments of imagination! We could make them colourful, but translucent and maybe even blinking, so they're tough to find."

TM: "Yeah, that's great! Keep the ideas coming!"

Developer 2: "We could also make them completely two dimensional, so you can only see them from a certain angle. Oh, and the backgrounds need to be colourful too, preferrably in the same shade as the figments. Otherwise it would be just way too easy."

TM: "Yes, yes, yes! I love it!"

Developer 3: "What if some of them move around in a pattern that makes the unobtainable for like seven seconds? Some of them could even go out of bounds behind walls, so the players can't even see them."

TM: "..."

D3: "Umm... Tim?"

TM: "What are you doing here?"

D3: "I... I mean..."

TM: "You should be an executive producer! Someone, get this person an office, and a car, and a golden donkey!"
