I have a story. I went out on a date with guy I met in one of my summer classes while attending cc. He took me bowling after class and then he suggested we should go watch a basketball game and eat at his place.

We get there and he tells me he needs to clean up first so to just wait in the car. He had me waiting in the hot sun outside his house for a whole hour! I was so pissed at myself for not driving myself there. I stupidly gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited instead of calling someone to pick me up.

When he gets out, he tells me let’s get food and doesn’t even acknowledge that I’ve been out there waiting, calling him and knocking and getting no response. I kept trying to get it out of him what was happening and he would quickly change the conversation. I convinced him that we should go back to school so I can go get my car and I’ll meet him at the restaurant. I drove home instead.

The next time I saw him in class, he told me sorry about the date and asked if we could try again but refused to even talk about why he left me outside for so long. I still wonder to this day what in the world he was doing and why he did that.
