Worst part of Pokemon Go is this subreddit

I personnally prefered the game status when the servers used to go down from time to time, but with the best features of the game available (footprints radar and a correct catch rate), than now. Yeah sure, the servers are now stable, but what kind of fun am I getting by seeing a 80 PC Rattata/Pidgey breaking out of 3 Poké/Great/Ultra Balls even with excellent curve throws ?(I have updated the app this morning, it seems like there is no difference at all)

I'm going to tell you : you are right when you say that Niantic exists for the purpose of making money. But my opinion is that they are absolutely not working on making the game more durable : they are just taking the most advantage of the summer hype with all the microtransactions they can get. Because they know that when fall and winter will come, the amount of players will decrease dramatically.

I just want to illustrate it with my personal example : I actually spent money on the game, not that much but still 10€ (~12-13$) like two weeks ago, when I was still enjoying the game as much as I could. At that time, I was something like level 23 or 24 and began to realize that the level cap to come was awful ; which is why I made that microtransaction, to buy some Lucky Eggs. Still, I was OK to give my money to Niantic, since I only used to have good experiences with the game, meeting awesome people and having real fun. Even with the footprints feature gone. I did it because I wanted to.

Now a few days ago, I went to the park as usual in the evening (which is way less crowded these days), and began to speak with a young guy, who told me he was about to make a microtransaction because he couldn't catch any Pokémon (even the most common ones) so he had to buy more Poké Balls. Slight precision : I live in a huge city with dozens of PokéStops everywhere, you can easily get more than 100 balls with a 20 mn walk. Now I feel like the game is not really bugged, but actually rigged. It's more and more adressed to casual players who are going to pay even for basic stuff. And the lack of communication from Niantic isn't going to make things better.

I was even about to make another microtransaction, to buy some incubators since exclusive and rare Pokémon from 10 km eggs are the only ones I'm missing in my Pokédex, but I just don't want to now.
