Worst places you have worked in Vancouver

I've worked for TWO packs of delusional cult-like weirdos: the RCMP (civilian administrative position) and a once thriving, mobbed-up marijuana dispensary (pre-legalization).

Since the RCMP won't trust anyone but their own "members" they frequently hire their own wives, aunts, nieces, nephews, sons and daughters to work for them. Great idea. Qualifications? Bah! Life experience? Pft! I had real experience with another police agency in another province, so my security clearance was earned elsewhere, but they dug deep into my past anyway. Talking to my co-workers I learned I was the only person who had actually been checked out. At all. Everyone else was a relative of a "member". Good thinking.

The dispensary was...fucked. They stole from us on every cheque. They really thought that since their weed store vaguely resembled an STD clinic and weed cures everything that they were, in fact, if you think about it, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS. I was there for the City of Vancouver's decree about stores not being 300m from schools, etc., and it was hilarious how fast they dropped the pretense of 'due diligence. The golden profit time was drawing to a close and soon anyone who could crawl in the door and see over the counter was being served.

Which must have been particularly sad for the fake-ass, skeazoid Naturopath "doctor" who they employed. He was now truly USELESS because no one needed a prescription anymore. This fuckin' perv would hold Skype interviews with people that consisted mostly of him asking highly detailed questions about females rectal health. Seriously. I had several women say after a consultation "What's with your doctor? He kept asking about my anus/bowel movements, etc!"

A friend with weed...something-something.
