Is it Worth Applying to Law School?

What an exciting career path! Well, given you're only a sophomore, you still have half your UG career to improve, and every point (even tenth) counts and makes a difference. Also, you haven't taken the LSAT yet, so I think it's way too early to say whether or not your stats are competitive or not, so definitely don't knock your chances. My 2 cents: keep working hard and towards your goals. 5 years post-UG is not too late! I imagine you'll be in your mid/late 20s by then and I encourage you to keep pursuing that route if you truly have an interest.

To be honest, I think AdComms would be very impressed to see such a robust academic combo and I've heard engineers actually do exceedingly well on the LSAT (from my undergrad pre-law advisor, don't know any specific stats on that though...). Do you know what field of law you would have interest in practicing? I think being in the military will also be a boost on top of your background by then. 7 years from now is a lot of time to take all factors into consideration and you should have a clearer idea of your stats and where you'd like to apply to by then. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Good luck with the rest of undergrad, your service, app cycle and eventually law school! :)
