Is it Worth Applying to Law School?

Good questions...I always tell people that are interested in law school to get involved in on-campus activities early on. Clearly, that looks different these days since the pandemic, but usually by your jr/sr year, you would want to apply for leadership positions in those respective clubs and activities. Another thing you can do besides getting a legal internship is to get an article or any other work published in an undergrad magazine, review, or department. To be honest, you can really put any work or internship experience, these are just suggestions that pertain especially to law school apps.

About the LSAT: many KJDs (kindergarten to JD applicants straight from undergrad-- this sub is filled with acronyms lol) start studying their junior year and take the LSAT the summer before or fall of senior year. For you, you'll have the luxury to take it at a later date at some point during your career. If you want to go to law school right after your 5-year term, at the earliest, you'd want to spend 6-12 months on your LSAT prep (2 years out) so that the following cycle (during your 5th year) you can go through the application cycle and start the following fall.
