The artist I hire to make my comic has made made over 1200USD from me alone in a year and a half. Add in her other commissions and she makes nice little chunk of change for things like saving up for a vacation or something. Making a living off of it however, from what I understand from the people I’ve worked with. Extremely taxing.

It depends on your skills and how much you’re willing to work per day, willingness to draw anything from pin ups, comic strips and nsfw content.

Nsfw content is unfortunately where a lot of the money is, and the scale of what you would be willing to draw would allow you to raise prices.
