Is it worth quitting to upskill?

It's not just the skills that matter but also other people's perception of your skills. You could upskill a lot faster and more quitting it all to dedicate your time and energy to it.

BUT most people will judge you negatively for it and add more weight to your years worked and school education.

I for example switched schools in my 3rd bachelor year computer science and went the student-entrepreneur route (was forced to work cuz ran out of money and my college at the time wasn't very supportive).

Anyway because of this my education took longer and my awsome grades dropped to just enough. Hell, I did learn a fuck ton during those years but people rarely value your time worked during your studies and look at it as "you took 4.5 years to finish your bachelors?" Like you are some kind of loser.

(Some) People's perception matter, because you want money from them.
