Is it worth it to run Didn’t Say Please just for the comedic value?

You realize this kind of mentality is ruining EDH for a lot of players, just because a card is the most efficient doesn't mean it's the best.

Meme cards are fun, flavor decks are fun, chair tribal is fun, people can have fun even when they are losing.

If I wanted to play the most efficient spells at the exclusion of all others in a hyper competitive environment I'd play modern, edh doesn't need to be modern, edh shouldn't be modern, if you want to play modern play modern. Or, you know, at least be honest that your deck is high-powered.

Edh is supposed to be about having fun with your friends and relaxing, not winning at any cost.

This kind of mentality among players forces everyone to play the most broken, op, and efficient cards unless they want to lose every game, it becomes an arms race where everyone is trying to keep up with everyone else.

I just want to build a deck around a pure jank 5 card combo and win maybe 8% of the time, edh used to be the format to do that in, but now it feels like it's becoming modern+.

I can't even play at my lgs anymore because all the former modern players there enjoy pubstomping so much, and they habitually lie about the power level of their deck.

I've been playing edh for over 8 years now and I feel like I'm being pushed out of the format because I can't afford to play a $1000 deck.
