Is it worth it to stay at my job when I'm continuously being taken advantage of?

I would just block her number if she tries to call me multiple times and is waking me up. That shit gets old fast.

But if you want to here a real shit situation of someone getting taken advantage of here's my story. My buddy got me a job right after my grandfather died and I was to upset to negotiate pay rates and ended up getting paid 20 cents above minimum wage. At the time I was making less than most of the courtesy clerks but my buddy told me how it was such a good job and that I would get some good raises.

Fast forward a year and a half later I've only received ten cent raises and am now able to do three times the work I started out doing. My manager offered me a raise but said she would talk to my "Best" friend later in the week to find out if I'd be a good fit for the position. He told her no because he wanted to keep his best worker in his department.

Now you're thinking boy how can it get worse, right? Well it does. I was recently out for a couple weeks due to an injury and was going to collect some disability but my boss decided to switch my vacation that was already set up for a few months down the road to half the time I was on disability. So I ended up losing two weeks of disability and had to not get paid while out of state at a wedding for two weeks.

I'd stay at your job it actually sounds like you aren't at a dead end and aren't getting completely shit on and taken advantage of. Good luck op.
