Is it worth trying recruiting companies like teksystems or robert half? Also question about linkedin

Keep in mind these contracting companies are taking a cut of what the employer is paying for you, I interviewed with a couple of their jobs and the pay was always crap. Teksystems health insurance is also expensive if you've got a family. If you have any experience I'd say just look for regular full time positions, only use the contracting companies if you're trying to break into the field which doesn't sound like your position.

For the LinkedIn, you're probably not hitting whatever keywords people are searching for by leaving out a good job description. Fill that out with good keywords like "AWS" or "Palo Alto Firewalls" or whatever you're doing for your job and I'll bet you'll start getting contacted more.
