Would anybody be interested in a Youtube series on reviewing good\bad fanfics?

Is there some kind of conflicting copyright law with AO3 or that exists within the fanfic realm that does not within other literary fiction or other media, and that clashes with youtube’s fair use copyright laws? Because I do not understand how everything else can be used under Fair Use legally without permission as long as it is transformative, but everyone INSISTS that fanfiction must ALWAYS get permission from the author to be used first even if the video is transformative and falls under fair use, even though I have seen DOZENS of videos where fanfictions have been read and used in videos for parody and comical purposes in transformative ways and I can assure you no permission was obtained beforehand, at least not 100% of every time and I have yet to hear of any lawsuits or copyright claims or cease & desist letters that had been sent out. And if you know anything about youtubers, they would have mentioned they’d received such from the authors of said fanfics.

Tl;dr yes, it’s polite and probably more proper to obtain permission first from the author but if your yt video is transformative and fair use by definition, you don’t necessarily need permission. Don’t spread misinformation about copyright law.
