Would anyone be interested in making colorful holiday thank you posters for the Covid ward at the U of A hospital?

I’m so sorry about your dad and I understand you’re just looking to do something - anything - that you can help with.

But I was a Stollery patient and if you don’t know they allow patients and their families to colour a tile in the bathrooms. It’s meant to brighten the space. It made me so anxious. I would look at them and wonder which kids made it out and which kids didn’t. I’d see ones that were supremely well done and think, either it was an older teenager like me, someone really talented, or an adult doing it on behalf of someone else. Which made me so sad.

I understand your sentiment totally but if you gave the nurses a poster they’d be reminded of you and your family each time. That’s why nurses love consumables, tbh. Or a heartfelt thank you.

Or a better government.

Again... I’m so sorry about your dad.
