Would you buy this Jeep?

Wow. No love for jeeps in this thread eh. Well. I cant say I work on them but I have this model with a diesel engine and in the 2 years I've had it its only needed minor repairs, but it's a different drivetrain. We cant all drive Corollas and Civics that are 20 years old, reaching the million mile club and still purring like kittenses. We get lucky with vehicles, that's the bottom line. You could buy a 2017 cherokee and have their shitty tranny quit 10 clicks down the road. A lemon! Or! Or it could be the best vehicle you've ever owned. What day of the week was it built? Who fuckin knows. I love jeeps. If mine breaks, ill fix it. Im not telling you to buy this one. It's an ok price, but if it's the top end of your price range forget it. Owner is not coming down to $1000 because it doesn't have ac. If you need an suv for that price go older. Early 2000 model suvs usually go for pretty cheap and usually have recent work done to them to sell easier. A little advice: Mechanic inspections tell you a lot, see if you can get one for a vehicle you really want to buy. And carcomplaints.com gives you an awesome breakdown of common problems.
