Would it be fair to say that Hinduism is the most feminist religion in the world?

Religion is very complex... What we know about religion is mainly through text books written a long long time ago..It might be just novels (like GoT, harry potter) written by good writers (valmiki/vyas)... might all be just imagination or memoirs of some good guys from a village... Who the fuck knows...

You know that we used to sati widows not a long time ago right? Ended in 18th centuries...

It all started when goddess sati threw her self in the fire because her husband was disrespected/absent.. It all started as an ego thing of one woman but remained a really stupid thing as we progressed. Imagine how many women wanted to live their life even after the death of their husband but society had to follow some superstition...

So, they used to tie a living woman with the dead body of their husband and burn them alive...

Dhol and was used so that the sound of crying and pain can be suppressed.

So, No.....Nothing is feminist.

Woman across the globe have lifted themselves up.. Rani laxmi bai, sarojini naidu giving a golden finger to the society.....and thats the only way it seems....
