i've wished on the weapon banner 4 times, and 3 out of 4 times i had an immediate use for the featured weapon I wasn't going for. the 4th time was scaramouche's weapon and I had originally planned to skip & wait for a rerun because I didn't have much use for itto's weapon beyond sticking it on the c6 noelle I use very occasionally (the only claymores I use are noelle and chongyun lol), but I ended up getting lucky on the character banner & had enough to guarantee scara's BiS even if I had horrible luck. there's also zero characters I am interested in for the next 6 months at least, though. if there was another character I was interested in (so completely depleting my stock of wishes would have been a bad idea) I would have stuck with my original plan & skipped it.

i also don't have very many standard banner weapons though, so losing to those wouldn't be a huge bummer to me either (unless i got another aquilla favonia :|).
