Yes she done something bad that we all know about. But...there’s a part of it no one talks about.
No I’m not comparing her to Charles Manson as a person. But that story is a good example of how there’s an extremely flawed person, who is guilty of things. But who is also a scapegoat for a bunch of things no one wanted to admit. Charles Manson was dangerous. BUT the far right needed Charles Manson to be a lot worse than he actually was. If I say “Charles Manson didn’t actually kill anyone. And didn’t tell people to kill anyone.” (Which is true) Someone is bound to come along and tell me to stop defending him. My point is yes, you can find plenty wrong with him. But the far right didn’t want to talk about why all these kids at the Manson ranch were homeless in the first place. How a lot of them ran away from abusive conservative homes. How Manson’s mom was ran off for being an unwed mother and he spent his whole life in their system. They needed a scapegoat in Charles Manson in order to justify their hatred of the counterculture to the public. They used his flaws to cover their own.
There’s politics and power grabbing in every organization in the world. It’s on the playground, it’s in every home, everywhere unfortunately. Anywhere there’s a group of people. When there isn’t a peeing contest, people are just bragging about who can hold it in the longest. (Same thing) With that being said, I’m not really defending her when I say this. Are we going to sit and pretend that there wasn’t a lot of people jealous of her before they ever found out she was white? “Experts” who were sooo caught up in themselves, that they couldn’t see someone playing them. Who still don’t even want to admit it. And NO ONE is talking about that. So they take everything that’s wrong with her, and use it to cover up the fact that they were caught with their pants down. Basically, “art experts” who looked right at a faked Picasso and didn’t know the difference. Clinging to an appropriation cry as if they could even tell the difference in something real or fake.
