Jesus Christ in heaven I need to unsubscribe from this place. What are you even downvoting? Do you think I’m wrong? Why? I would genuinely be happy to know. I took multiple logical courses for my masters, although that was 10+ years ago and I’m sure I’m perhaps missing something here.

As far as I can tell, however, you’re avoiding any actual logical argumentation for your main premise, in favor of offering a congruent argument that’s instead dealing with other familiar instances.

If we were to try to funnel all of this down into a single argument, would something like:

“Why would they lie” in regards to Christian prophecy is an unconvincing argument if other religions have comparable claims. Other religions have comparable stories, therefore “Why would they lie” in regards to Christian prophecy is an unconvincing argument.”

Is that close to the meat of the matter? If not, what would be closer?
