Would you like a DLC that continues to advance your chosen faction?

For me, definitely not. The reason is that not everyone likes every faction, so unless they release DLC focusing on each faction in turn, there is a significant possibility that it won't be the faction you wanted them to focus on.

I for one just can't stand the brotherhood in this iteration of Fallout (I've always either liked or tolerated them previously), and I shoot down Vertibirds as a matter of course on just about every playthrough. I also know that most people probably at least tolerate the Brotherhood enough to at least play through their quest line (I can't even manage that yet) because of their cool gear etc., so I'm guessing that the BoS would be high on the list for getting DLC attention if Bethesda went that way. I'd probably still get it because it would add, at the very least, new modding resources that I'd want to use, but otherwise it would be less likely to add something for me beyond that.

Unless, of course, the DLC allowed you to either support or oppose them, in which case I'd love some epic battles of me against them.

Which brings it to the crux of the matter. I'm really disappointed at Bethesda's decision to force absolute choices on the player this time around, as opposed to Skyrim where, other than the civil war, you could end up leading every faction. Sure that could get kind of silly towards the end (and you could completely ignore your responsibilities to any given faction once the quest line was over) but it was way better than forced enmity with one or several factions.

If I ever managed to really get into complicated modding, the one thing I'd really like to do is bring choice back into the main quest end game so that, say, you could turn the Institute into a force for good, take over the local BoS and eradicate the fascist tendencies, give the Railroad a bit more perspective, and generally get everyone to get along.

Now that's DLC I'd pay well for, but I've never seen DLC that went back on something already released, so I know it won't happen.
