Would like to engage in serious conversation about my philosophy of life

Will you tell me something ... or, if it again comes to this, introduce me to some uncommon definition(s) you've chosen for some relevant word(s), which I might not otherwise perceive to be in effect—?

WHAT is the most popular and typical set of philosophical positions which DOESN'T lead to a conclusion that "aiming for peace of mind is the best way to go about living well"?

See, I'm thinking that just because many people do not seek peace of mind, it doesn't always follow that their sets of philosophical positions (even if different than your own) actually steer them away from peace of mind. Instead, I hypothesize that the people are simply, blithely ignoring the conclusion to strive for peace of mind. Maybe, for instance, because it doesn't feel exciting enough; or whatever.
